Cornerstone Restaurant Opens at Gold Coast Hotel

Cornerstone, a classic American steakhouse, has opened at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

"From our succulent steaks to our carefully curated liquor library, Cornerstone is a unique new destination for an outstanding dining experience," said Mark Laboy, Vice President of Food and Beverages at Boyd Gaming. "Cornerstone was inspired by being well-loved for traditional American steakhouses: a comfortable place to enjoy delicious food, a variety of drinks, and meals and great friends."

Cornerstone's unique and comfortable space allows visitors to preview classic experiences to enjoy. Timeless black and white, sporting tuxedo-inspired decorations, and the bold splashes of Cerulean Blue accentuate a room for an unexpected modern twist. White-painted brick walls are adorned with mercury glass scones and chalkboard murals that give the design a personal touch, while chandeliers in blue silk shades draw all eyes to the center of the unique dining room. The curated collection of vintage photographs and colorful accessories are playfully interspersed with Cornerstone's signature blue-colored contemporary artwork. The bar is filled with an eclectic combination of stylish seating options, and a comfortable environment to study Cornerstone's signature "soul library."

Featuring more than 60 varieties of whisky from around the world, Cornerstone's Liquor Library is an extensive collection of passionate experiences. Enjoy Scotch, bourbon, rye, or a handful of whisky alone, or as part of a ban-inspired handmade cocktail, such as Old Fashioned, made from Old Forester bourbon that is barrel-aged for 40 days. From just $17 dollars, flights of whisky are also available, ranging from Kentucky to rye and Japanese whisky "Kamikaze Flights." The menu also offers the Crown Royal Cornerstone Blend, the first limited edition of Crown Royal's Noble collection. The blend features notes of sweet caramel, rich roasted grains, and offers the scent of ripe apples. For drink-seekers of different genres, Cornerstone enjoys Moscow Mul, which features Stolly Vodka, Ruby Pot of Dow, Fresh Lemon and Berry, and Barrett's Ginger Beer.

The traditional steakhouse offering fills Cornerstone's powerhouse menu. Sharing eight beef choices, nine toppings, and 12 sides, Cornerstone's main event is entirely customer-made. The 1855 Angus beef cut, USDA certified, includes Cornerstone's signature Prime Lip Crown steak, which is generously marbled to provide a richly flavored experience. Cornerstone finishes the meal with a variety of desserts, including limoncello cakes, a light, fluffy lemon cake infused with layers of mascarpone pastry cream and limoncello liqueur.
